Making the bed and that fresh, clean scent. Deciding if blue is your colour this week, if you’re looking for calm but still want to mix it with a touch of brightness. You go for yellow. Layer after layer, you smooth the fitted sheet, firm and precise. Your bed, a dream.
Longing for night to come just to undo it and feel the pillowcase and the layers softly wrap around you. Sleep.
